Refund & Payment Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026, Version 6

This is the payment, refund, deposit, instalment, and billing dispute policy referenced by, and forming part of, the Custom Protocol Agreement you sign at checkout.

Payment and non-refund policy

This is a one time fee, not a subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe. By completing payment you authorise the charge shown at checkout.

The fee is non-refundable once work on your protocol has begun, which happens immediately after payment. No guarantee of any specific result, outcome, or transformation is made or implied. Results depend substantially on your own honesty, consistency, and follow-through, which are outside Nikodem's control.

You can cancel at any point by telling Nikodem directly, but this does not entitle you to a refund of any amount already paid. If you are a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel this agreement within 14 days of accepting it without giving a reason. By paying and asking Nikodem to begin work on your protocol, you expressly request that this service begin within that 14 day period, and you acknowledge that once work has begun you lose this cancellation right and the fee is non-refundable, as set out above.

Deposit and balance payments

Full payment upfront is the default for every custom protocol. A deposit-plus-balance structure only applies where Nikodem explicitly agrees to it in writing (message, invoice, or checkout description) instead of full payment upfront; that structure and the amounts are whatever was agreed and form part of this agreement.

Where a deposit structure applies, no part of the protocol is unlocked on the strength of the deposit alone. You can see the section titles of your protocol, but not its content, and you get no access to the Notion document or the daily tracker, until the full amount is paid. Your tracker link shows what remains outstanding and a direct way to pay it at any time.

The remaining balance is due immediately upon delivery of the protocol, unless a different date was explicitly agreed. Delivery means the point at which Nikodem sends or otherwise makes the completed protocol document available to you. Receiving, reading, reacting to, or otherwise engaging with the delivered protocol does not waive or delay this, the balance is owed at delivery regardless of whether or when you act on the protocol's content.

If the balance is not paid at delivery, Nikodem may, at his discretion and without further notice: pause or withhold any further revisions, updates, clarification, or support on the protocol; treat the unpaid balance as a debt owed by you and pursue its recovery, including by sending a payment request or invoice for the outstanding amount; and decline to provide any further custom protocol or mentorship service to you until the balance is settled in full.

Nikodem may rely on this agreement, the delivered protocol, and your related messages and payment records as evidence of the amount owed and that it was properly requested, including if the debt is escalated or referred for collection.

Where Nikodem agrees on a call to let you pay in instalments on a schedule you arrange directly with him, rather than the standard full payment upfront or the automatic Stripe-billed payment plan, that arrangement is only valid where Nikodem has explicitly agreed to it. By accepting an instalment on that arrangement, you authorise Nikodem to charge the card used for that payment for any instalment that becomes overdue or where you become unresponsive to his attempts to contact you about it.

If no further instalment is paid within 30 days of your first stage being released, your access to the protocol, the tracker, and any further stage content is automatically withdrawn. This is not a cancellation of the agreement or the amount owed, it is a pause on access until you speak to Nikodem directly to arrange payment or a new schedule, at which point paying the next instalment or the remaining balance restores your access automatically.

Billing disputes and chargebacks

You confirm that you have read and understood the Custom Protocol Agreement and this policy, that you accepted them freely and not under any pressure or duress, and that your acceptance at checkout, recorded by Stripe with your name, the date, and the time, is as binding on you as a handwritten signature.

If you believe a charge was made in error, or you have any concern about a payment, you agree, as a condition of raising any dispute, to contact Nikodem directly first and give him at least 7 days to review and resolve the issue, before contacting your bank, card issuer, or Stripe to dispute or reverse the charge.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first raising the issue with Nikodem and allowing that 7 day period to pass is a breach of the Custom Protocol Agreement. You agree that the agreement, this policy, your acceptance record, delivery and access records showing the protocol was made available to you, and your related messages and communications are conclusive evidence, in the absence of manifest error, that the charge was authorised and the protocol was delivered, and you agree not to dispute their authenticity in any chargeback, dispute, or legal proceeding.

Where a chargeback or payment dispute is filed in breach of the agreement, Nikodem may provide your bank, card issuer, or Stripe with this evidence, and may pursue recovery, as a debt owed by you, of the disputed amount, any dispute or chargeback fees incurred, and Nikodem's reasonable administrative and legal costs of recovering it.
